NEW PATIENT REGISTRATIONS
New Patient Registrations
Due to high demand and limited capacity, we regret to inform you that our GP practice is unable to accept any new patient registrations as this time. Please check our website periodically for updates on when we may resume accepting new patients. We appreciate your understanding during this time as we work to provide the best possible care for our current patient population. If you need assistance finding a GP that is accepting new patients, please contact the Practitioner Services team on nss.psdenquiries-general@nhs.scot for help with registration.
New Patient Registration Policy
At Links Medical Practice, we aim to provide high quality care for all our patients. If you wish to register as a new patient, please note the following:
- You can apply to register with us by coming into the reception and filling out a registration form. Proof of ID and proof of your address will be required.
- Acceptance on to the list is as at the discretion of the Practice. We will review your registration application and get back to you with a decision.
- If you have recently moved into our catchment area, your registration may be declined if there is another GP practice geographically closer to your new address.
- Other circumstances where registration application will not be accepted include (but are not limited to):
- The Practice may not be taking on new patients because it needs to maintain safe care and service levels and may be at maximum capacity
- You have previously been removed from the list
- You have a history or exhibited violence at the Practice
- The Practice will not decline registration on the grounds of to race, gender, social class, age, religion, sexual orientation, appearance, disability or a medical condition.
